As the Chairman of the P2A Student Ambassador Sub-Committee, Mahasarakham University organized the 1st Passage To ASEAN (P2A) Student Ambassadors Workshop and Forum on August 2-6, 2015. The event were participated by 45 student ambassadors from the 20 Passage To ASEAN member Institutions of the 9 ASEAN Countries. MSU Acting President, Prof. Dr. Preecha Prathepha, Director of the Division of Public Affairs and International Relations, Mrs. Nataya Chomphutsa and Assistant to the President for International Relations, Dr. Anyarat Natheeraphong offered a warm welcome to all the participants and speakers from Duy Tan University of Vietnam at the dinner reception. Mr. Jeroen Schedler, Executive Director-P2A Secretariat, Ms. Jocebel Ramirez Bonilla, Chairman of P2A Student Ambassador Sub-Committee, Mr. Duc Toan Vo, Director of Microsoft Innovation Center of DTU, Mr. Duc Anh Bui and Ms. Siraporn Siriphanlop introduced the Passage To ASEAN’s vision and its Student Mobility activities such as P2A Virtual ASEAN Community, P2A Race Game and P2A Journey to all student ambassadors. And Dr. Anyarat Natheeraphong facilitated the activity on ambassadorship during the workshop. During the closing ceremony, Asst. Prof. Dr. Theerayuth Chatchanayuenyong, Vice-President for Finance and Facilities delivered the closing remarks and presented the certificate of participation to all the participants. Some outstanding participants received awards for their great skills in Video Presentation and P2A Race Game. The 1st Passage To ASEAN (P2A) Student Ambassadors Workshop and Forum provided student ambassadors with the opportunities to empower themselves with ASEAN knowledge through range of its beneficial activities towards One Vision, One Identity and One Caring and Sharing Community of the Passage To ASEAN (P2A) Association.
