On November 30, 2023, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mahasarakham University (MSU) welcomed Mr. Kwon Dae Hyeon, Head of International Relations at the Korean Language and Culture Center, Seoul Theological University, South Korea. The meeting, also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Nittaya Wannakit, Dean of the Faculty, faculty members from the Korean Language Department, and student representatives, focused on potential collaboration in language and culture exchange programs.
The discussions covered opportunities for sending Korean language students to participate in MSU’s language and culture training programs, as well as plans for an MOU between MSU and Seoul Theological University. They also explored ways to organize cultural exchange activities and promote short-term Thai language and culture programs.
The first collaboration will occur in 2024, with MSU sending Korean language students to participate in an exchange program at the Korean Language and Culture Center.
