On May 9, 2024, Mahasarakham University (MSU) held a certificate presentation ceremony for students from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), Cambodia, who participated in the Thai language exchange program for the academic year 2024. The event, which took place from April 28 to May 10, 2024, aimed to enhance Cambodian students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Thai.
The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sarinsee Udchachon, Assistant to the President for Public Relations and International Image, who offered his blessings to the students and expressed gratitude to the Thai language instructors. Thirty-three second-year students from RUPP joined the program, exchanging knowledge with MSU students and faculty from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The university hopes that these students will apply their Thai language skills in their future studies and lives in Thailand, and use their knowledge to contribute to the development of Cambodia. The program also aims to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Cambodia.
At the event, Dr. Sarinsee Udchachon and Associate Professor Dr. Nittaya Wannakit, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, presented certificates to the participants, followed by a commemorative photo.
