On November 22, 2023, His Excellency Chu Duc Dung, Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, visited Mahasarakham University. During the visit, he met with university and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences administrators, faculty members, and students from the Vietnamese language program. He presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Nungrutai Chantharakham and awarded encouragement prizes to outstanding Vietnamese language students. Discussions also focused on the development of the Vietnamese Cultural Center and opportunities for continued collaboration between the Consulate and the university in organizing Vietnamese language activities.
