From December 11 to 14, 2024, the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahasarakham University, will conduct an educational trip focusing on cultural heritage, archaeology, and historical studies. The program includes visits to the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Angkor Wat, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire and one of the world’s wonders, as well as Koh Ker, an important archaeological site in Cambodia.
The purpose of this trip is to study local communities and ancient cultures while exploring significant historical landmarks. Additionally, students will attend academic lectures delivered by researchers and experts from the Cambodian Studies Center.
