Mahasarakham University (MSU) warmly welcomed a delegation from Tenri University, Japan, as part of an exchange program aimed at enhancing language skills and cultural knowledge for Japanese major students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This initiative promotes Japanese language learning and cultural appreciation among MSU students by providing opportunities to practice directly with native speakers and experience Japanese customs firsthand. Additionally, the program fosters Thai-Japanese cultural exchange.
Beyond language and cultural immersion, the project strengthens ties between the two universities and enables students to build international networks with Japanese peers. Activities include Japanese language lessons, cultural exchanges, study tours, and various engaging events that contribute to students’ future learning.
Asst.Prof. Dr. Pondej Chaowarat, Vice President for Public Relations and Global Engagement at MSU, highlighted the program’s significance, stating, “This initiative is highly beneficial for our students, allowing them to enhance their Japanese language skills and gain in-depth cultural understanding. We sincerely appreciate Tenri University for providing this valuable opportunity to our students.”
